About Me:

Hi, I'm Cloe Astbury, a Journalism Student at the University of Derby and writer for Ever Changing Hair!

When I was 18, after finishing sixth form, I began my adventure into dyeing my hair. Excited by all the posibilities, I decided to use temporary hair dyes, also known as wash out hair dyes, to keep my natural blonde hair intact underneath the crazy colours so I wouldn't need to bleach my hair!

Naive to which dyes worked best, I took to the internet to inform myself of which dye would be best for me.What I found, was that the information I was looking for, just wasn't really out there!

Fast forward 9 months, just weeks before going on holiday and I found myself crying in a hairdressers as she told me my hair follicles had been stained green and my only choice to get rid of it was to dye my hair dark red.

In the last two years, following my hair disaster, I've made it my mission to learn as much as I could about temporary hair colour and to trial and test the most popular dyes on the market to get the information out there to help stop others from similar hair disasters!
